She is beyond the title, in my opinion, Best Living Playwright in Chinese theatre, she is my savior. Her words. Her wisdom beneath the (mostly) dirty jokes. Her friendship. This one is for her, and all the capable girls in my life. (Oh there are soooo many you have no idea…)

My beloved black box poet
Thank you for everything you gave me
I could hide away in your humor
And escape from the chaotic world for a while
Those who understand a lot
Are often not understood by many
Under the blade of your sharp humor
No one can escape

There’s no past
There’s no tomorrow
Life’s rainbow only exists right now
Fragile girl
Cannot let go of the thorns of red roses
